1974-76 Stainless Steel Trim Kit

1974-1976 BMW 2002, 1600 Includes: Upper, Rocker, Side and Rear trim fasteners.

These fasteners are a vast improvement over stock because they will never rust, and seal the holes that can cause rust to start on the bodies of our beloved cars.  These fasteners are made from polished stainless steel which gives them a chrome-like appearance and a high resistance to corrosion.  Vibration resistant nylon insert lock nuts are used to retain the fasteners and prevent them from shaking loose over time.  The rubber washers included in this kit are closed cell (water proof, non-absorbent) and seal the openings in the body by compressing between the body and clip to form a water tight seal..

These fasteners are manufactured in-house, and get tested for proper fit and durability prior to shipment (test performed with a actual 2002 moldings).   Installation instructions are included.

Included in this kit :

• 2 stainless Rocker trim fasteners with stainless hardware and sealing washers
• 4 stainless Rear trim fasteners with stainless hardware and sealing washers
• 10 stainless Side trim fasteners with stainless hardware and sealing washers
• 10 stainless long stud Upper trim fasteners with stainless hardware and sealing washers (doors & quarter panels)
• 12 stainless short stud Upper trim fasteners with stainless hardware and sealing washers (trunk & hood)
• 12 stainless jam nuts for the upper fasterners if there are unusally tight clearances on the hood and trunk.

This kit only provides stainless steel fasteners, plastic replacements are sold seperately
